It's a concept EP, the whole thing is from the perspective of Lord Gemma, the villain in the anime Ninja Scroll. At the end of that movie he is immortal but trapped in molten gold like a statue at the bottom of the ocean. In my story he survives cursed by his immortality but finds enlightenment and turns to the forces of good after centuries meditating at the bottom of the ocean.
He atones for his former sins by spitting bars of the dead sufi poets he channels and occasionally slaughtering fascists.

It was inspired by being given a katana the afternoon after a morning of quantum healing.

The first track features a rare sample of Maxine Rai Whiting playing piano and Gabriella Gaia on her shamanic rattle and myself on harp!

It also features production from Joshua Rector.

This is a pressure valve of creativity I'm releasing only on bandcamp between proper albums. At thIS rate me, Miss Perspective and others will have a proper album ready by summer and I dare say it's already sounding epic. But in the meanwhile here's some extremely niche vibes on a concept EP to help get you through quarantine season.
